Sight Word UNO

I'm obsessed with the different versions of Sight Word Uno you can find at teacherspayteachers.com. This verison that I'm showing you today, plays exactly like UNO. You have the wild card, draw four, draw two and skip. With this UNO game, you can only change the color with a wild card or putting a card on top with the same sight word on the card. The directions for this, said that if you don't have that color, you keep drawing until you get the color. Well, that made the students get lots of cards. I said to draw two cards and that was it. This way they weren't ending up with 20 cards. Hope you enjoy! Head on over to teacherspayteachers.com and see all the wonderful activities they have.

Happy St. Patrick Day

Happy St. Patrick Day!!! I know I am late, but better late then never. I made things for my students and for some of the staff. For the student's, I put Lucky Charms in a bag and then had a saying hooked to it that said, "I'm so Lucky to have you in my class." Then I made green Rice Krispie bars and brough extra Lucky Charms.

For the staff members, I made St. Patrick Day in a Jar. You start out with gold rolo's or if you can find the gold coins. Then layer skittles. That part took the longest. Once you are done with that, you save some room on the top for the marshmellows.

Teddy Bear Colors

I have this great activity that not only works on patterns, but colors too. I work with a variety of disabilities and I'm always looking for new things. If you follow along with me, you will find that I make a lot of my own activities. This is do to it not always being easy to find activities that will fit a certain task you are working on.

This is what it looks like out of the container.

Of course.....a video!

Update!

The program I use on my I-pad had an update that caused it to crash!  They finally got an update and I will get things posted later today.  Thanks for your patience!
